Services for Mrs. Cora V. Kohn who died Friday evening in Traverse City will be held at the family home of Mr. and Mrs. John Spotts, east of Maple Corners, Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Portland cemetery. The Rev. Keith Avery of the Portland Methodist church will officiate.

She was born Oct. 13, 1874, at the farm home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Vunk, who lived east of Maple Corners where Mr. and Mrs. John Spotts now reside. Mrs. Spotts, a niece, and a few cousins are the only survivors. She had two brothers, Silas and Harry Vunk, who preceded her in death.

A graduate of Albion college in the class of 1896, she taught for several years in Lyons high school and in Orleans and Belding schools.

On Nov. 30, 1911 she was married to Anthony J. Kohn and they resided on the farm near Orleans until his death in 1923 when she returned to the home to live with her mother, Mrs. William Vunk and brother, Harry.
