GROVER CITY—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Grensted Funeral Home for Mrs. Annie Mae Cannady, who died Thursday in a San Luis Obispo hospital.
Mrs. Cannady, who was born in Missouri, Jan. 26, 1898, lived in Grover City for 22 years where she is survived by husband, Benjamin H. Cannady.
Other survivors include three sons, Willard Cannady of Tracy, [illegible] and Harvey Cannady of Oakland; three daughters, Katherine McKinley, Frances Vieira and Flora Mae Washburn, Grover City; a [half] brother, Carl Helton (Sic) [Hylton] of Missouri and six sisters, 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Interment will follow in the Arroyo Grande Cemetery.

The Rev Leon Brooks of Oceano officiated.
Mrs. Sarah Silkwood sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus” and “The Last Mile of the Way”. She was accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Evelyn Tyerman. Interment followed at the Arroyo Grande cemetery. Pallbearers included Theo Stanley, Cecil Merriman, Bernard Duque, Archie Steele, Jim McCormack, and C. J. McClene.
Mrs. Cannady was born on Jan 26, 1898 in Missouri and had made her home in this area for 22 years. She resided at 1242 Nice avenue She died in a San Luis Obispo hospital on July 18 [1963].
Survivors include her husband, Benjamin H. Cannady, three sons, Wilford H. and Harvey F. Cannady, both of Oakland, and Willard R. Cannady of Tracy, three daughters, Katherine McKinley, Frances Vieira, and Flora Mae Washburn, all of Grover City, 19 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cannady is also survived by six sisters, Iva [Boyer] McGraw of Porterville, Stella Floyd of Utah, Sarah Bates and Thelma Hexter, both of Missouri, Mary Bennett of Oregon and Maggie Racca of Grover City, and one [half] brother, Carl Helton (sic) [Hylton] of Missouri.
