Graveside funeral for Mr. Benjamin Cannady, 86, of Grover City, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Arroyo Grande Cemetery with the Rev. John Lundgren of the Pentecostal Church of God of Grover City officiating.

Mr. Cannady was born Sept. 23, 1887, in Galena, Kan. (sic) [Osceola, St. Clair County, Missouri], and died March 8 in an Arroyo Grande hospital. He had been a Grover City resident for six years.

Survivors are five sons, Wilford Howard and Harvey Cannady, both of Oregon, Willard Cannady of Bakersfield, Louis Cannady of Colorado and Terrell Cannady of Oakland; four daughters, Katherine McKinley of Oregon, Frances Vieira and Flora Mae Washburn, both of Grover City, and Myrtle Hodges of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Essie and Susie Bryant, both of Missouri; 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and five great, great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are by Wood Funeral Home, Arroyo Grande.
