Ann (Denson) Randel married Joseph Randel (Fitz Randolph) probably abt 1762 at Western Branch MM, Virginia. (records at Western Branch MM were lost and begin at 1767) Joseph's brother, Jacob Randolph was an Elder there and married Elizabeth Pretlow 22 Apr 1777 at Western Branch MM.

"The families of Eley, Jordan, Copeland, Randolph, Trotter, Outland, Porter, Draper, Lawrence, Pretlow, Johnson, Denson, Vick and Hicks were among the more prominent in the meeting" at Western Branch MM, VA

"In 1770 a committee appointed by Western Quarterly Meeting to visit Friends at Bush River Meeting in South Carolina recommended that a monthly meeting be settled there. This recommendation was approved by the Quarterly Meeting in 11th month, 1770, but the records seem to indicate that the new monthly meeting was not actually held until 4th month, 1772. Meetings for worship which are mentioned as reporting to Bush River Monthly Meeting include Bush River, Raburn'a Creek, Tiger River, Padget's Creek, Mud Lick, Allwoods', White Lick, Edlsto, Charleston and Rocky Springs."

28 Jan 1771 - Southampton County, Virginia, Francis Denson named his wife and children in his will, which was witnessed by Thomas, Jesse, and Patience Draper. He appointed his wife and daughters - Elizabeth, Sarah and Ann as Executors.
