Frank E. Pelton, 61, a lifelong area resident, died Thursday, Feb. 13, at his home on Decker Road. He was born March 17, 1913, in Greenleaf township, son of Mrs. Annie Pelton of Cass City and the late Ernest Pelton.
He married Phyllis Brown, Sept. 2, 1939, in Pinnebog. After their marriage, they made their home in Berkley, moving to Shabbona in 1948 from Harbor Beach.
He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Karen) King of Cass City and Mrs. Robert (Sherryl) Rich of Deckerville; his mother, Mrs. Annie Pelton of Cass City; one brother, John of Snover; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Naomi) Wallace of Snover and Mrs. Margaret Cleland of Ubly, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted from Little's Funeral Home Sunday with Rev. Wayne Rhodes, pastor of the Shabbona United Methodist church, officiating. Interment was in Elkland cemetery
