He was born Feb. 6, 1931, in Salt Lick, Ky., to Levi and Elizabeth L. (Peters) Lynch. He married Shirley Watson Nov. 2, 1968, in Cass City. She died April 24, 1994. He worked for Active Industries for over 26 years, retiring in October 1998.
He is survived by his children, Ann Marie K. Lynch and Matthew George Lynch, both of Cass City; sisters, Rhodie Lynch of Cheboygan, Sue (Kenneth) Errer of Owendale; brother, Wheeler Lynch of Deckerville, and several nieces and nephews. Four brothers and 5 sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 9, at Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, with Dr. Philip Rice of Cass City United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment was in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City.
Memorials may be made to Bay Shore Camp or American Cancer Society.
