William N. Dunn, 89, of Ward Two, who died at the Huey P. Long Memorial Hospital in Pineville Tuesday night at 10 o'clock, was buried at the Allen [Jones] Cemetery in Ward 2 Thursday morning at 11:00 o'clock.

Rev. Ab McMurry preached the funeral services and the Masonic ritual was held at the cemetery.

Mr. Dunn was born in Winn Parish July 5, 1854 [sic 1855] and lived his entire life in Ward 2. His occupation was farming and at one time he served his community as police jury member. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ira Allen of Route 2, Winnfield, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
