Marjorie Jean Hartley, 67, of Lapeer, died Friday, Feb. 20, 1998, at Lapeer Regional Hospital.
She was born March 22, 1930, in Cass City to Joshua and Anna Mae (Robinson) Sharrard. Marjorie met John Hartley at the Cass Theater where she was a ticket taker. They were married Oct. 8, 1946, in Cass City.
Marjorie and John lived in Pontiac for over 40 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Waterford.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, John; children, Joyce (Myron) Boloyan of Port Richey, Fla., Sandy (Wayne) Hutchinson of Clarkston, Larry (Tina) Hartley of Lapeer, Linda (Tim) Spangler of Lapeer, Brenda (Michael) Seabrook of Lake Orion; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Eldon (Betty) Sharrard of waterford; sister, Helen (Lawrence) Bartle of Cass City, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Sharrard.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 23, in Little & Kranz Funeral Home with the Rev. David Burkett, of Colwood United Brethren in Christ Church, officiating. Interment was in Elkland Township Cemetery,
