JAMES L. FOWLES
South Salt Lake - James L. Fowles, 44, 90 W. Malvern Ave. (2625 South), died Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at his home after a heart attack.
Born May 30, 1916 at Mount Pleasant to Joseph Wilford and Martha E. Bills Fowles. He married Wilba Anderson Sept. 15, 1947 in Ely, Nevada. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was employed by South East Furniture Co., and was a member of the LDS Church; as well as a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his widow; son and daughters, Dale, Lynn, Sandra, and Karen, all South Salt Lake; his father of Salt Lake City; sisters, Mrs. Irvin (Virginia) Ferguson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Alden (Sadie) Remund, Murray; Mrs. Roy (Zola) Jeffs, Provo; Mrs. Melvin (Ina) Holmburg, San Jose, Calif.; and Mrs. Paul (Von) Heffernon, South San Gabriel, Calif.
