Myrtle McCutchen Turner was born May 21, 1888 and departed this life March 7, 1965, being 77 years and 10 months old.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother and two children. She is survived by her husband, Obie Turner and six children, Willie, Ovie, and Cecil Turner, Mrs. Edna Harris and Mrs. Bessie Stockton all of Monticello and Mrs. Eula Cooper of New Castle, Indiana, and 23 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren, four sisters and three brothers.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Carl Ray Harris, Bill Haris, Bruce Turner, Douglas Stockton, Lawrence Turner and Larry Turner.

She professed faith in Christ many years ago and joined the Friendship Presbyterian Church. She was laid to rest in the Parmleys Grove Church Cemetery to await the resurrection.

Give her of the fruit of her hands and let her own works praise her in the gates (Proverbs 31-31).

Sleep on dear mother and take your rest.

Jesus called you and he knew best.

Someday we hope to meet you in that home of the blessed.
