Robbie Dale Blair, 46, of Boones Mill, Va., passed away suddenly on Friday, Oct. 27, 2006.

Robbie was born Aug. 18, 1960, in Benton to Alton L. Blair Jr. and Martha Jean Raper Blair.

He served his country in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Terry Lynn Blair.

Survivors include two brothers, Jerry Blair and wife Christie and Bryan Blair and wife Rebecca, all of Benton; a sister, Chandra Lowrey and husband Ricky of Harrisburg; four nieces; three nephews; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; special friends, Bobby and Dawn Jordon and Yancy Vaughn; his many friends at Auto Crushers Inc.; his prized possession, 'Red Dog'; and a special thank you to Charlotte and Mike Bishop.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. from the graveside at Fairplay Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory in Roanoke, Va.
