Dora Emerett Ferry is the daughter of Dwight & Elizabeth (Young) Ferry of Eskridge KS. She was listed erroneously listed as 'Sarah' in the 1875 KS State census.

1st marriage: Charles Loveland in 1897 in Eskridge. He died in Apr 1928. They had two children: Glen Ferry Loveland Sr. and Arlene E. (Loveland) Mallory/Mallary. Arlene died in an auto accident w/her husband on 26 Nov 1961/62.

2nd marriage: Albert M. Allen who died about 1968 probably in Alma.

"Dora E. Allen, daughter of Dwight and Elizabeth Young Ferry, was born June 12, 1871, at Eskridge, Kansas and passed away at the Alma Manor, November 11, 1972, having attained the age of 101 years, 4 months and 29 days.
.. She spent her early life in Eskridge before moving to Kansas City, Kansas where she lived for many years before she moved to the Alma Manor in August of 1969. She was a member of the Chelsea Park Christian Ch. at Kansas City, Kansas.
.. She was married to Charles Loveland, who died in 1928. she later was married to Albert Allen. He died several years ago. A daughter, Mrs. Arlene Mallory, died in November 1961 [1962]. She is survived by her son, Glen, of Eskridge; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter; a number of other relatives and friends.
.. Services were held at the Austin Funeral Home, Monday, Nov.13, with the Rev. Eugene V. Solomon officiating. Organist, Norma Lee Sorrick, played "God Will Take Care of You."
.. Casket bearers were: Dean Dunn, George Edgerton, Ralph Stratton, Jack Waugh, Sr., E. A. Peterson and Clynt Smith.
.. Interment was in Eskridge Cem. Austin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements."
