Virgil Foltz was born the son of Charles William & Myrtle Powell-Foltz in 1903 in St. Joseph Missouri. Virgil worked as a service manager for a trucking firm in downtown Tulsa, Ok. in the 1920's. Virgil married Marcenia Selby-Foltz and had a daughter Katherine "Carolyn" Foltz-Fogle in 1922. Virgil remarried in the mid 20's to Lorraine Sigler-Foltz and had a daughter Donna Jane Foltz-Fultz in 1929. In 1933 Virgil was selling car batteries on street corners in Chicago when he was notified that an up and coming company Oklahoma Tire & Supply Company (OTASCO) wanted him to work for them in Oklahoma. Virgil accepted for $200 a week salary and worked his way up from a floor sales associate to Superintendent of Construction for this billion dollar business based out of Tulsa, Ok. Virgil retired from OTASCO after 35 years of service and they honored him as an Honorary Vice President position in the 1970's.
Virgil was preceded in death by his brother Raymond Foltz in 1916, and his parents.
