CAMBRIDGE -- Helen Irene Luczak, 84, went to be with her Lord Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at the Beckett House, New Concord.
She was born May 6, 1923, in Pleasant City, daughter of the late George and Mary McCoy Weaver. She was a homemaker, previous employee of Ecko Manufacturing in Byesville and beloved mother.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter, Harold (Rose) Johnson of Pleasant City, Connie (Robert) Holdren, John (Anna) Luczak and Ken Luczak, all of Cambridge; 10 grandchildren, Jessica Luczak, Amber Luczak, Jay (Diane) Johnson, Christy (Ron) Shelton, Timothy (Genea) Johnson, Daniel (Trisha) Johnson, Connie (John) Masterson, Naomi (Dan) Bankes, Becky (John) Mihalik and Joe (Annette) Holdren; great-grandchildren, Andrew Mihalik, Laura Mihalik, Joshua Mihalik, Brittany Shelton, Jerod Shelton, Daniel Johnson, Sean Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Chantel Johnson, Bianca Johnson, Melissa (Chris) Rush, Levi Johnson, Taylor Masterson, Becca Masterson, Jacob Masterson, Aaron Johnson, Jason Johnson, Holly Johnson; several great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband Bernard Johnson; second husband John Luczak; five brothers, Willard Weaver, Roy Weaver, Charles "Hank" Weaver, Hershel Weaver, and Lewis Weaver; four sisters, Blanche Cubbison, Rose Callahan, Ruth Johnson and Lilly Cale.
Calling hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville. Graveside services will be conducted by the Rev. Bill Johnson at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, in Harmony Christian Cemetery, Claysville.
Memorial contributions can be sent to the activities department at the Beckett House, New Concord.
