Nora Dee Blackwell passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009, in Springfield. She was born March 27, 1929, in Flemington, MO., to John and Elsie Price who preceded her in death. She married Glenn Blackwell on May 15, 1949, and was a devoted mother and house wife. Nora was an active leader in the 4-H for 12 years, she loved cooking, square dancing, sewing and watching ice skating.

Stephen Smith, a grandson; and Richard Morton, son-in-law, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Glenn; daughters, Linda Cramer and husband, Randy, Dorothy Morton, Patty Cunningham and husband, Jack, and Debbie Johns and husband, Craig; brother, Wesley Price and wife, Ruth; sister Donna Curtman; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Sunday, August 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. Services will be Monday, August 17, at 10 a.m., in Klinger-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Highway EE (Division). Interment will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery, Willard, MO.
