ANDERSON — M. Suzanne "Suzie" (Turner) Banta, 31, Anderson, died Aug. 11, 2009, in Anderson.
She was born July 24, 1978, in Anderson, the daughter of Michael Turner and Debbie (Jenkins) Turner. Suzie lived her whole life in Anderson.
She was high-spirited, protective of family and friends, and enjoyed dancing. She never met a stranger and loved her family. She was a loving mother. She had attended Alexandria-Monroe High School.
Survivors include her mother, Debbie Turner of Elizabethton, Tenn.; father, Michael Turner of Elizabethton, Tenn.; son, Austin Bruner; two daughters, Sierra Banta and Aleigha Banta; sister, Lisa Chismar of Elizabethton, Tenn.; brother, Gary and Melissa Turner of Kingsport, Tenn.; grandparents, Ezekiel and Dottie Jenkins of Anderson; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend, David Jackson.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Mary Turner; and grandmother, Sue Jenkins.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Guilkey Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard True officiating.
Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
