She was a claims investigator and was retired from Equifax Services.
She was a member of Pine Eden Baptist Church in Crossville, where she loved her many church family members and her pastor. She loved to served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, sing, write poetry, sew, read, make crafts and spend time with family and friends. And she loved to laugh, mostly at herself.
She lived her life to the fullest and was a devoted daughter, loving mother, proud sister and caring friend.
She would say to all family and friends, serve the Lord and don't let death in this life happen without you being saved; love deeply; share with those you love; help those in need; know that sometimes love hurts, but it is still worth everything you put into it; and live every day to its fullest. She would also want you know that she is happy where she has gone and looks forward to you joining her one day.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Craven of Crossville; daughter, Kim McNeill O'Dell (JM) of Crossville; son, Greg McNeill (Tina) of Memphis; stepdaughter, Jeanette McCown of West Union, OH; grandchildren, Sherrie McNeill, Matthew and Jenifer; step-grandchildren, Leighanna and Crystal; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Dylan and Hannah; a host of friends she cherished throughout her lifetime; and sister, Peggy Stafford (Dovey) of Mercer, TN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Ann Shelton Charter of Jacksonville, Arkansas; one nephew; and one niece.
Linda's memorial will be held July 18th, 2009, 1:00 pm at Pine Eden Baptist Church, Crossville, TN and Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory have charge of the arrangements.
