Funeral service for William F. Robinson, 84, will be in the Chapel at Peck Funeral Home at 3:00 P.M.on Thursday,
June 9, with Rev. Terry Nappier officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery (Morgan County). Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 8, at the funeral home.
Mr. Robinson died on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at his residence. He was born March 9, 1927, in Morgan County to Earl Robinson and Nettie Crowe Robinson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, who served in WW II. He helped form the VFW in Falkville and served as Commander for many years. He was VFW All American Commander in Post 10774. He loved dirt track racing.
He was preceeded in death by his wife: Monzell Robinson in 2008, his parents Earl in 1991 and Nettie in 1994, a daughter: Sue Johnson in 2007, a son: Stevie Robinson in 1998, a grandson: Wayne Johnson Kenneth Wayne Johnson Jr in 1978, a sister: Mary Lee Haynes in 2007, and a brother: Ellis Robinson in 2002.

Survivors include two sons, Billy Wayne Robinson and his wife, Catherine, of Decatur and Bobby Robinson and his wife, Glenda, of Falkville; daughter, Joan Cocke, and her husband, Bobby, of Falkville; daughter in law Carrie Gullion of Decatur; Grandchildren: Kathy Patterson and Kimberly Johnson of Texas, Anita Towe, Denise Barnett and Donna Mears of Decatur, Jeffrey Hemming, Michael Cocke, Bobby Joe Robinson, Johnny Robinson, Melinda Bennett of Falkville, Rex Allen Robinson, Brian Robinson, Brandy Free, Heather Peebles and Robbie Cocke of Hartselle; and 23 great- grandchildren, two Brothers Danny Robinson and his wife, Margaret of Decatur, AL Henry Robinson and his wife Lynn of Collinsville, AL, Brother-In-Law John Haynes, Camden S.C. and Sister- In- Law: Helen Robinson, Cleavland, AL.
