The funeral services of Edson L. Boughton will be held Monday morning at 11 o'clock from the Episcopal church. Friday morning, after long suffering, the aged pioneer passed away. He was born in Oberlin, Ohio, November 29, 1842, being 70 years, 3 months and 20 days of age. He had lived in Montana for 31 years and was a rancher, living four miles east of this city. He leaves a wife and one daughter, Mrs. Charles Tappan of this city; two grandchildren, Jessie Boughton of Livingston and Chas. Woods of California. Three sisters-in-law also survive, they being Mrs. Ollerenshaw of Helena, Mrs. Scott Davis of Denver and Mrs Gibbeian Warrall of Livingston.
