The Troy Times says: Mrs. Susan A. Rogers, widow of the late Hon. Charles Rogers, died at Sandy Hill Sunday morning, aged seventy-nine years. Mrs. Rogers was the daughter of Dr. Russell Clark, eminent as a physician and surgeon, and the sister of Dr. Erskine G. Clark, also famous in his profession, who survives his sister and resides at Sandy Hill, where his life work and the life work of his father were performed. She leaves three sons, all bred to the profession of law, Hon. Charles Rogers of Dubuque, Iowa, and Gen James C. Rogers and Randolph Rogers of Sandy Hill, and three daughters, Mrs. Paris, wife of Hon. U. G. Paris of Sandy Hill, Mrs. Taylor, widow of Dr. James Taylor of Cincinnati, and Mrs. Collin, widow of the lamented Cashier Collin of the National bank of Sandy Hill.
