Dr. G.M. McDowell Dies
Dr. G.M. Mcdowell, died at his home in Molena early Wednesday morning. He was taken sick Saturday and was not considered seriously sick until a day or so before his death. Dr. McDowell was about fifty years of age and had lived at Molena most of his life where he had practiced medicine for some twenty five years. He was highly esteemed over the county as well as his community where his death is greatly regretted. He leaves a wife and several small children and other relatives to mourn his death. His brother J.H. McDowell, died just three weeks ago. He was buried at Molena yesterday morning at ten o’clock, the Masonic fraternity having charge of the body.
