Mrs. Mollie Herrin McKenzie, died last Wednesday, November 28, at her home in Eubank. She had been in ill health for the past five years with paralysis.

The daughter of the late Elijah J. and Sarah Frances Proctor Herrin, Mrs. McKenzie was born Nov. 22, 1873. She married John W. Acton April 6, 1893, and three children were born to this marriage. Mr. Acton and one son preceded her in death.

Mrs. McKenzie married Walter McKenzie Nov. 6, 1918, and he survives her.

Mrs. McKenzie professed her faith in Christ and and united with the Providence Christian Church at the age of 18 years. She remained a member of that church until her death.

Mrs. McKenzie is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Reca B. McCollum and Mrs. Audrey F. Gooch, both of Eubank, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday at the Eubank Baptist Church. The Rev. C. M. Hill and the Rev. Wilbur Lindsey conducted the services. Burial was in the Good Hope cemetery.
