Kimberly T. Adamson

On April 11th, 1961, God sent one of His angels, KIMBERLY THERESA ADAMSON, to Frank (deceased) and Mildred Adamson, to share His divine love with the world. When Kimberly's work was completed, God called her home.
Kim was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Southwestern High School in 1979. She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1981. After military service, she attended Essex Community College and studied Communications to continue her training in Electronic Communication. She began her career with the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company as the first female Cable Splicer in Maryland. After 15 years of dedicated service, she decided to follow her entrepreneurial spirit and became self-employed. She eventually purchased her own taxi cab which not only allowed her to experience a sense of freedom and financial independence but also gave her an opportunity to minister to others and to evangelize the Gospel of Jesus Christ; she often stated that this was the best "job" that she ever had. Kim was baptized early in life and rededicated her life to Christ in 1999. She found her church home and became a member of New Shiloh Baptist Church.
Kim was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed basketball and football. She liked camping, swimming, and world travel, and she had an exquisite taste for the finer things in life. She loved children and was well known by her nieces and nephews as "Antie Kim". Although she didn't have any children of her own, she was a mother to many. Kim loved to engage in theological, political, and philosophical debate. She had a passion for learning, as evidenced by her voluminous library of educational books, tapes, and CDs. Kim was dedicated to her family, especially her mother.
Kim leaves to cherish her memory: her loving mother, Mildred; five brothers, Frank, Jr. (South Carolina), Leonard, Jerome, Barry, and Duncan (deceased); six sisters, Glendell, Daiselle, Dorothy, Deirdre, Terry, and Cathy; sister-in-law, Lynn; three brothers-in-law, Bobby, Deloga and Joseph; seven aunts, Louise, Rosa Lee, Viola, Daisy, Rachel, Ethel, and Nancy; two uncles, Herman and Richard; two god-children, Antione and Kimberly; other relatives and friends.
