Services were scheduled for 1 p.m. January 15 at Hawkins Chapel with Ray Wells officiating, and burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery.
Mr. Phillips was born in Rockwall April 4, 1920. He married Imogene Glover in Durant, Oklahoma, on January 11, 1932. He worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by four sons, Earl Phillips Jr., of Midland; Michael Phillips, Bridgeport; Donald Phillips, Hawthorne, California; and Bobby Phillips of Giddings: four daughters, Juanita Bell of Show Low, Arizona: Ann Dillman of Mesa, Arizona; June Mitchell of Grover, and Sherry Kramer of Austin; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and a nephew.
