His father, William Boal Sr. was born on May 12, 1800, in Centre County Pennsylvania, and he died on May 5, 1878, in Tusseyville, Potter township, Centre County Pennsylvania.
William Boal Sr. is buried in the Tusseyville Cemetery, in Potter township, Centre County Pennsylvania, with his wife, Elizabeth Hannah (Spangler) Boal (1804-1847).

Almira (Feather) Gifford, the daughter of
his sister Mary Polly (Boal) Feather).

any of the three of them.

(She is listed as age 20 and
Lafayette Feather is listed as age 18).
In the 1860 census Mary and her
young daughter are living in
Potter township, Centre Co. PA, with
Mary's brother Jonas (Jonathan) Boal
and his wife Catherine (while
Lafayette is living in Berrien
County Michigan with his parents).
(No further record of Lafayette!)
Mary was living in Bloomfield, Greene
County Indiana in 1867 (with or near
her sister Lydia (Boal) Henney?), when
Mary inherited some money from the
Peter Spangler estate (probably
her Grandfather Peter Spangler Jr.).
Mary's daughter Almira (also listed
as "Alice"), was married to
John A. Gifford.
(Mary's daughter Almira (Feather)
Gifford is buried (with no headstone),
in the Salem Cemetery, in Berrien Co.
MI next to Mary's brother George Boal).

the daughter of Lewis Evans and
his wife Christiana Spangler,
of Centre County Pennsylvania, and
then of Hinchman, in Oronoko township,
Berrien County Michigan.
Note: Both John and Christiana's
mothers maiden names were "Spangler".
(John is incorrectly listed on
their marriage record, as
John "Boalagea").

of Niles, Michigan. (1875-1949).
Married William A. Womer, on July 10, 1907,

2. Ells Arthur Boal (1868-1955).
(Ells remained single).
3. Lewis HOWARD Boal (1870-1939).
He married Christenah Spangler and
