Frederick News 20 May 1943 states:
Mrs Mary Therese Johnson, wife of Harry Johnson, died suddenly at her residence, 200 East Third Street, early this morning. She had been in good health apparently but suffered a cerebral hemorrhage Wednesday evening. Born September 4, 1885 at Columbia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew J and Elizabeth Leddy Meisling. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, the Sodality and Catholic Daughters of America. Surviving, besides her husband, are three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Geisbert, Frederick; Mrs. Pauline Keegan, Washington, DC; Mrs Anna Margaret Gordon, Frederick; three brothers, J A, Hayes G. and Andrew J Meisling, all of Frederick; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Spahn, of Baltimore; four grand children and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held with low mass at St. John's Church at 9AM Saturday morning. Interment in Mt Olivet Cemetery. William F Sauer, Pastor.
