Allen Johnson Passes
Mr. Allen Hix Johnson, died at his home in Langnau, this county, last Friday, February 3rd, 1928 of stomach trouble.
Mr. Johnson was born in this county, March 26, 1860 being a son of the late Hiram and Martha Johnson. And all during his life has made this his home, engaging in farming.
He was married about 48 years ago to Miss Hannah Doan of Langnau. He has been a member of the Baptist for more than forty years and of the Jr. O.U.A.M. about 18 years and was buried with honors of that Order in New Salem graveyard Saturday.
The surviving children are Zourie Owens, Langnau; Idomy Johnson, Crawford; Lona Hodges, Langnau; Lina Vaughn, Crawford; Maggie Owens, Chris Owens, Bert Johnson, Langnau; and William C. Johnson, Corbin.
