Mrs. Susan Harris, formerly of Altoona, died Friday morning at the G. A. R. home in Swissvale where she had been a guest for the past six years.
She was born March 6, 1865, in Altoona, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret(Hannigan) Eshelman. She was married to James Harris Sept. 28, 1887. He preceded her in death Jan. 26, 1927.
Mrs. Harris was the last of her immediate family, although several nieces and nephews in Altoona survive.
She was a member of the Methodist church and G. A. R. circle 8, Altoona.
