Services for Mr. Robert Willis "Bill" Neal, 68, of Sailes, La will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 23, at Cypress Springs Baptist Church in Sailes, La. Rev. Harlan Smith will officiate, assisted by Rev. Mark Strickland. Burial will be Williamson Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Arcadia.
Mr. Neal died Tuesday, June 21 at Schumpert Medical Center, Shreveport La, after a lengthy illness. He was a retired bus driver with the Bienville Parish School Board and a dairy farmer.
He is survived by: Wife, Mrs. Levohn Cole Neal of Sailes, La; one son, R. David Neal and daughter-in-law, Linda J. Neal of Harrisonburg, La; two daughters, Ms. Judith Neal Neuroth of Bossier City, La and Mrs. Allison Neal Turner and son-in-law Richard Turner, Arcadia, La; one brother, Terry H. Neal, Waskom, Texas; two sisters, Ms. Macie Blanche Shaw, Gladewater, Texas; Mrs. Frances Mitchell, Mansfield, La; seven grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Willard Moore, Lyndon Taylor, Jerry Dingler, John McInnis III, Legin "Sam" Smith, and David Fields.
Family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Williamson Cemetery Association.
