MRS. KITCHEN OF MOBERLY DIES; FUNERAL TUESDAY
Mrs. Lillian Gladys Kitchen, 59 of 121 S. Fourth, died at Woodlawn Hospital Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. She had been ill six weeks.
Born July 25, 1907 in Rutledge, Missouri, she had lived in Moberly the last six years, but had resided here previously to that time for a total of 35 years.
Mrs. Kitchen was a daughter of the late William Walker and Mrs. Ethel (Johnson) Walker of Revere. Mrs. Kitchen was a nurses aid at the Phillips Nursing Home. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth M. Sr.; three sons, Kenneth Jr. of Brunswick, Thomas of Moberly, and Richard E. of Independence; three daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Darlene Olvera of Independence, Mrs. Betty Mae Orsak of Moberly, and Miss Beverly Jean Kitchen of Independence; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; four brothers and three sisters, Victor Walker of Independence, Mrs. Velma Cash of Bucklin, Mrs. Opal Gaw of Keytesville, Mrs. Georgia Mason of Hale, Harley Walker of Princeton, Iowa, Bill Walker, Jr. of Denver, Colorado, and Jess Walker of Revere; and several nieces and nephews.
The body is at the Million & Greer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be tomorrow at the Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
