Walter Scott Henderson, b. Nov. 10, 1869 in Lytle Creek, San Bernardino County, CA. and d. Jul. 26, 1964 in Alta Loma, San Bernardino County, CA. &
Amanda Louisa Westphal, b. Jul. 1, 1876 in Etiwanda, San Bernardino County, CA. and d. May 17, 1937 in Loma Linda, San Bernardino County, CA.

Walter and Amanda were married in about 1894.
Their children were:
1) Hermen Harvey Henderson, b. Oct. 2, 1895 in Etiwanda, San Bernardino, CA. and d. Jun. 1, 1940 following a spinal operation at St. Vincent's Hospital in Los Angeles, L.A., CA. He marr. first, Luretta M. Hensley and second, Alice Irene Knecht.
2) Fred William Henderson, b. Sept. 05, 1897 in CA. in Etiwanda, San Bernardino, CA. and d. Jan. 04, 1941 in San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, CA. Fred marr. Theodosia 'Dot' Mathis.
3) Amanda Matilda Henderson, b. Aug. 19, 1899 in CA. and d. Dec. 16, 1983 in Fresno, CA. She married Earl Fogal on Sep. 3, 1921 in San Bernardino, S.B., CA. They moved to Fresno from Etiwanda.
*Edward Lee 'Ed' Fogal was their youngest son.
4) Walter Le Moyne Henderson, b. Jan. 30, 1902 in Etiwanda, San Bernardino County, CA. and d. Nov. 22, 1983 in Springfield, Lane County, OR. Walter marr. Verena Inez Howland.
5) Raymond "Ray" James Henderson, b. Jan. 30, 1906 in Etiwanda, San Bernardino, CA. and d. Dec. 26, 1993 in Etiwanda, CA. Raymond marr. Ruth Hazel Mathis.
6) Jesse "Jess" Baron/Byron Henderson, b. Oct. 5, 1907 in Etiwanda, San Bernardino county, CA. and d. Jun. 6, 1984 in Douglas County, Oregon. He marr. Dorothy Eloise Harding. Their children were: Elwood, Theodore, Jesse Byron, Ronald and jJk Clinton Henderson.
7) Louise Ethel Henderson, b. Sep. 27, 1909 in Etiwanda, San Bernardino, CA. and d. Jan. 25, 2000 in Corona, Riverside County, CA. where she and her husband, Cecil Albert Orr lived for years.
8) Inez Edna Henderson, b. Jul. 31, 1912 in Etiwanda, San Bernardino county, CA. and d. Jun. 21, 1974 in Eugene, Lane County, OR. She marr. Merrill Brown Warren on Nov. 6, 1932.

Beyond them, were Joseph Edwin Perdew, wife Nettie Henderson Perdew & 7 of their children (Clarence Howard, Forest Seabury, Lynn John, Thomas, Chester James, Kenneth and Ethel Vera).
On the next farm were another of Joseph & Nettie's sons, Robert Rolland & his wife, Mabel Perdew;
Beyond them, were living Fred William & his wife, Theodosa Henderson - and three farms in the opposite direction, Icie Marler and her family were living.

Raymond Henderson and Ruth Mathis Tues. were united in marriage on June 25, 1929 at the parsonage of the First Methodist Church in San Bernardino, San Bernardino, CA.

Raymond and Ruth Henderson's children were:

3. Raymond Lee Henderson, b. Oct. 7, 1932 in San Bernardino County, CA.
4. Rodger Leslie Henderson, b. Dec. 5, 1937 in Etiwanda, San Bernardino, CA. and d. Mar. 21, 2019 in Beaumont, San Bernardino County, CA.

Raymond Henderson has recently traded his east avenue ranch to Mrs. Ellinwood for the property above Summit avenue known as the Rader ranch and is now occupying the new home.

According to the 1940 U.S. census, 34 yr. old Raymond Henderson, a farmer, b. in CA., was living on a farm he owned, valued at $1200 on Etiwanda Av. in Etiwanda, San Bernardino, CA. with his
39 yr. old wife, Ruth Henderson, b. in CA.
10 yr. old son, Richard Henderson, b. in CA.
7 yr. old son, Raymond Henderson, b. in CA.
2 yr. old son, Rodger Henderson, b. in CA.
The family was living in the same house in Etiwanda in 1935.
The highest grade Raymond had completed was 7th, Ruth had finished one year of high school, Richard has finished 4th and Raymond Jr., 1st.
Raymond worked 40 hours on his own account in the week prior to the census, and 30 weeks in 1939. His income was $630 and he had income from other sources.

Obituary: Raymond James Henderson, 86, of Etiwanda, died January 26 at San Antonio Community Hospital.
He was born in Etiwanda and lived in Etiwanda all his life.
He was a retired citrus rancher.
Mr. Henderson is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Watford of Etiwanda; three sons, Rodger L. Henderson of Cucamonga, Raymond Lee Henderson of Madres, Oregon; and Richard D. Henderson of Australia; a sister, Louise Orr of Corona; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Draper Mortuary, Ontario.
Graveside services will be held at 10a.m. Monday at Bellevue Memorial Park. Interment will follow.
