MERIDIAN- Funeral services for Thomas J. Cagle, 69, Meridian, who died Tuesday at Hailey hospital after a brief illness, were scheduled at 2:30 p.m. today at Robison Chapel of the Chimes with the Rev. Ralph Fothergill officiating and interment to follow at the Meridian Cemetery. Mr. Cagle was born Aug.26,1898, in Carthage, Mo. He moved to Twin Falls in 1916 and later moved to Gooding,
where he met LaNeva Wirt, They were married Nov.14, 1922, in Shelley. After their marriage they moved to California. In 1933 they came to the Boise Valley, where he farmed until 1946 when they moved to Carey. They farmed there until 1954, then moved back to the Boise Valley and farmed until Mr. Cagle retired in 1963. He was a member to the Christian Church. Surviving are his wife, LaNeva, Meridian; a daughter, Lucille Freeman, Lewiston; two brothers, Howard H. Cagle of North Hollywood, California, and W.Frank Cagle of Itasuki , Japan: and five grandchildren, eight nieces and five nephews. A brother and two sisters preceded him in death. Pallbearers will be Carl Huntsinger, Elton Pigg, William Marshall, Walter Nicks, Ralph Madden and
Victor Ustick.
