Dies at Meridian
MERIDIAN (Special) —Lowell Stanley Fortner, 63, died Wednesday morning at his home in Meridian.
Mr. Fortner was born Nov, 10, 1889, in Manhattan, Kan. He came to Idaho in 1936, and married Sarah Dockins in 1936 at Vale, Ore.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Fortner of Meridian; his mother, Mrs. William Fortner of Manhattan, Kan.; one son, Lowell M. Former of Seattle, Wash.; three daughters, Mrs. Ellen Temple of Seattle, Mrs. Katherine Johnson of New Boston, and Mrs. Georgia Howard of Manhattan; one sister, Mrs. May Schumaker of New Boston; three brothers, Ernest Fortner of Mitchell, Ore., and Milton and James Fortner of Manhattan, and eight grandchildren.
Robison chapel is arranging services.
