From the Arizona Daily Star:

Oliver Elliot (Ollie) Hagler
June 4, 1921 - July 25, 2003

Loving father, husband and friend, joined his Lord and Savior on Friday afternoon, July 25, 2003.

He leaves behind his wife, Judy, of 28 years; daughters, Amber Uhrig (Jeffrey), Karissa Hagler and Leanna Hagler; and sons, Guy and Bryan Hagler. He is survived by brothers , Alvin Hagler of Dallas and Royce Hagler of Phoenix.

His life was devoted to education, where he spent 25 years as an elementary school principal and the remainder of his days as a school volunteer and public school advocate. Ollie touched numerous lives, and leaves behind many family members, friends and former students who count themselves blessed to have known him. We, his family and friends, wish to praise the Lord for his life and legacy, as Ollie praised the Lord until his last breath.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary.

The family would like to request that, in lieu of flowers, a donation me made in his name to a children's Christian education organization, Word of Truth Ministries, P.O. Box 12141, Tucson AZ 85732.
