Carmen Lucila Carreon Alcantar, 19, of Avondale died Feb. 18, 2007, at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix.
Ms. Carreon Alcantar was born May 4, 1987, in Mexico, and moved to Arizona from California about five years ago.
She is survived by her mother, Maria Esther Ruiz; and three brothers, Oscar Omar, Gerrardo Emilio and Hugo Felizardo Carreon Alcantar.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Central Avenue at Loma Linda Boulevard in Goodyear. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, 99th Avenue and Thomas Road in Avondale.
