August Springstube, Jr., 84, a retired ranch hand, died of natural causes Monday morning in a local nursing home.
He was born March 18, 1905, on the family farm at Branch, Wis. and worked on the farm. He married Linda Luckow in March 1924 and then rented a farm in Kato, Wis. He came to Great Falls in 1950 and worked on local ranches.
Survivors include a daughter, 4 sons, a sister, 8 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
A son, Milton, died in 1963. A brother and 7 sisters also preceded him in death.
