CARLTON H. ABEL, 64, owner and operator of Abel's Garage, Elwyn for about 40 years, died Saturday at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Middletown.
He lived at 5 Briton Ave., Elwyn, Middletown.
Mr. Abel wa a member of the Middletown Fire Co. No. 1; Media Fire Co., and the Middlwtown Lions Club.
Surviving are his widow, the former Grace Williams; two sons, William of Morton and Russell of Bowie, MD; his mother, Mrs Mary C. Abel of Middletown Heights; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy M. Knafla of Philadelphia, Mrs. Grace I. Singer, Mrs. Florence Read and Mrs. Helen F. Stevens, all of Middletown Heights, and five grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the William C. Rigby Funeral Home, 15 E. 4th St., Media. Burial will be in Media Cemetery, Media.
