Casper S. Brady, of Saylor Grove, a childlike, innocent drummer boy, and a native of Iowa, died of erysipelas, caused by a wound in the knee, received at the battle of Donelson. Handsome marble stones were placed at the head and foot of his grave by his parents, in Saylor Grove Cemetery
