Accrediting the teachings of Reputation, we are bound to say that he [Anthony] was a man of lowering excellence. But he was cut down by the sythe of the great destroyer ere he had hardly reached the summit of manhood capacity and usefulness, leaving a widow surrounded by her groups of prattling, helpless children to grope their way onward and upward to manhood and womanhood without the aid of a father's hand to lead, or counsel to direct. After he became head of a family, and during his father's last years, he and his father, in some manner of conjunctiveness, owned and occupied the now two separate but contiguous farms described in this Record as the "Cyrus Munger Place", and the "Alvin Needham Place", but how they iived - in one dwelling or two - and if in their particular locations, and which by which occupied, are queries too puzzeling now to solve.
