Myrtle taught school for awhile and after her husband passed, she moved closer to town and ran a boarding house from her home on Columbus Avenue.

Myrtle was 87 years, 6 months and 26 days old when she passed. Services were held at Oswald Funeral Home, Lebanon.

Her grandparents were William & Esther Mercer.
