Obit: Muscatine Journal, June 24, 1965; Mrs. Millie O'Ella Collison, 63, of 909 E. 10th St., died at 6:15 a.m. today at Muscatine General hospital, after a short illness. The daughter of Arthur and Rosa Burr LaRue she was born Nov. 18, 1901, in Cedar county. She was a former resident of Atalissa, and had moved here 36 years ago. She was married in 1919 to Harry Collison. Surviving are one one, Wendell H. Collison of Muscatine; three daughters, Mrs. Chester (Loretta) Kelley and Mrs. Alma Walker, both of Muscatine, and Mrs. Frankie (Myrtle) Lovell of Tipton; seven brothers, Arthur, John, Darrell, Charles, Howard, Virgil and Donald LaRue, all of Muscatine; one sister, Mrs. Juanita Honts of Nichols; 13 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister. The body is now at the George M. Wittich funeral home, where services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, with Rev. T. Ray Crews officiating. Interment will be at West Bethel cemetery.
