Born in Norman, Okla., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 60 years.
He was a construction worker. Also, he was a chaplain and life member for the Veterans of Foreign Wars and founder of the Racing Association of Marysville.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a son William Walter DeBeaord of California ; a brother ,Doyle DeBeaord of California ;three grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Mae DeBeaord; and a daughter, Deborah Sue DeBeaord.
A graveside service is at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sierra View Memorial Park and Mortuary, 4900 Olive Ave., Olivehurst.
