Dr. H.K. Cunningham, a well known citizen of La Plata, died at his home in north La Plata yesterday morning at 1:00 after an illness of several months and his death came not unexpected.
Deceased was eighty-four years, five months and five days of age and is survived by his aged wife besides many other relatives and friends who will mourn his death.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1:30 at the Christian Church conducted by Rev. S.B. Owings, after which the body was laid to rest in the La Plata cemetery.
Mr. Cunningham was one of the charter members of the Knights of Pythias lodge.
