PEFFLY, Mary Ann age 80 of West Carrollton passed away Wednesday June 9, 2004 at Walnut Creek Nursing Center. Mary Ann was born in Manchester, KY. On Jan. 3, 1924 to Lacy & Lizzie (Owens) Abner. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arlando Peffly, Jr., 3 brothers Ernest, Clarence & Kenneth Abner; sister Hazel Pope. She is survived by her children Candy Peffly of West Carrollton, Terry (Jackie) Peffly of Reno, NV., granddaughter Suni (Robert) Parker, 2 great-grandchildren Kelsie & Skye Parker of Las Vegas, NV., sister Jewel Wilson formerly of Miamisburg and a host of nieces, nephews & friends. Mary Ann was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church, West Carrollton and retired from Rike's Department Store in the Alteration Dept. Funeral services will be Friday June 11, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the SANNER FUNERAL HOME 800 Alex Rd., West Carrollton with Revs. Del Harper & Delbert Dawes officiating. Graveside committal services will be at 1 p.m. at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery in Covington, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
