Aged Woman is Taken by Death: Margaret Jane Morgan's Body Returned to Colfax for Burial

The body of Margaret Jane Morgan, 85, a former resident, arrived at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon. She died at 4:30 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Emma Casey, of Waukegan, Illinois, with whom she had resided for several years.

The body was taken to the Coyner funeral home to await burial plans. Interment will be in Plainview cemetery.

Mrs. Morgan was born in West Virginia (error), July 24, 1851, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Tankersley. On August 25, 1873, she was married to Jeremiah Morgan. He preceded her in death several years ago. Mrs. Morgan had been in failing health a number of months. She was a member of the Christian Science church.

Survivors are Mrs. Dell Powell, Colfax, and Mrs. Emma Casey, daughters, Mrs. Fannie Haines, Marion, Kas., a sister and Richard Tankersley, of Frankfort, brother.
