He was born May 27, 1926, in Lima to Willis and Viola Miller Conrad, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 23, 1954, he married Eleanore Filas, who died March 11, 2004.
Mr. Conrad retired as an insulator/painter from the Lima Refinery after 39 years. He was an Army veteran serving two years during the Korean War. He was a 1946 graduate of Lima South High School. He had been a member of St. John Catholic Church, Lima.
Survivors include four children, Randy (Barb) Conrad, of Lima, Mark (Sheila) Conrad, of Elida, Jeff (Val) Conrad, of Lima, and Kathy (Gordon) Fretz, of Sellerville, Pa.; his special friend, Ruth Dellinger, of Lima; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Arlo Conrad, of Lima.
He was preceded in death by four siblings, Chester and Virgil Conrad, Amber Williams and Maxine Hennon.
