Gilbert E. Weber, 65, of R. 1, New Holstein, died Friday night after being stricken with an apparent heart attack at his home.
He was born in the town of New Holstein and farmed there until 1956, when he became employed at the M-B Co., New Holstein, as a shipping clerk. He retired in September 1976. On Feb. 15, 1941 he married the former Alice Lindemann in New Holstein.
Only immediate survivors are his wife, and his mother. A sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Erbe-Evjen Funeral Home, New Holstein, the Rev. Albert K. Borns, pastor of St. John UCC, officiating. Burial was in the New Holstein cemetery.
