Obituary of Alfred Newlin

Alfred Cyrus Newlin, age 75, of 1015 Woody Store Road, Siler City died Friday, May 4, 2001 at his home. Mr. Newlin was a native of Alamance County and was a retired farmer. He was a member of West Grove Friends Meeting.

He is survived by his wife, Janell Moody Newlin of Siler City; three sons, Barry Newlin of Snow Camp, Gerald Newlin of Siler City and William Newlin of Burlington; one daughter, Cynthia Newlin of Montclair, NJ; one sister, Martha N. Hartley of North Lima OH and six grandchildren.

Friends may on call Saturday May 5, 2001 from 7 to 9 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City.

The funeral will be Sunday May 6, 2001 at 3:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City with Rev. David Hobson officiating.

Burial will be in West Grove Friends Meeting Cemetery, Snow Camp.
