Born March 22, 1951, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Vernon and Virgie Lippy. He was the husband of Peggy J. Ashe Beverly, his wife of 30 years.
He was a 1970 graduate of Hereford High School. He was a truck driver for P.M.I. Transportation. He began his trucking career working for Thomas, Bennett & Hunter of Westminster, continued on to work for C.J. Miller Inc. of Hampstead and then for Robert W. Seal, now known as Patuxent Companies.
He enjoyed shining his dump truck and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, David Michael Beverly of Westminster; brothers James Beverly of Baltimore, Charles Powers of Felton, Pa., Ronald Beverly of Manchester and Robert Beverly of Hampstead; and sisters Carol Jean Hart of Perkinston, Miss., and Cindy Lippy of Maryland Line.
A brother, Gary Beverly, predeceased him.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
