Rita A. Huhn, 76, village of Cleveland resident went home to her Lordon Sunday, September 10, 2006.

She was born July 8, 1930 in Lena, Wisconsin. The daughter of the late Louis and Mary Petesch Mayer. Rita graduated from Central High School in Sheboygan, class of 1948. On August 4, 1951 she was united in marriage to William H. Huhn and the couple resided in the Town of Centerville where they engaged in farming. Mr. Huhn passed away February 9, 1982. Rita was a member of St. John and St. Peter Evangelical LutheranChurch in Cleveland.

Rita is survived by two sons; Larry (Cindy) Huhn of Cleveland and Lyle (Susan) Huhn of Elkhart Lake, one daughter; Linda (Larry) Dassler of Cleveland, three grandsons; Tyler Huhn of lola, Dylan Huhn of Sheboygan, and Bradley Dassler of Cleveland, two granddaughters; Symantha Huhn of Sheboygan and Amanda Dassler of Cleveland, two sisters; Ursula Wilke Retella of Chilton and Theresa Daun of Sheboygan, two brothers; Robert (Alice) Mayer of Sheboygan and Richard Mayer of Kiel, one brother in law; DuWayne (JoAnn) Huhn of Cleveland, four sisters in law; Ceil Mayer of New Holstein, Evelyn Mayer of Sheboygan Falls, Dorothy Mayer of Texas and Bonnie (Mark) Fritz of Eagle River, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her husband, parents, three sisters, and seven brothers.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 A.M. on Friday, September 15, 2006 at St. John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland.Pastor David Endorf will officiate and burial services will follow atSaxon Cemetery in Town of Centerville. Friends may call at the St. John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cleveland, on Thursday, September 14, 2006, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday, September 15, 2006, from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel of Cleveland is assisting the family with these funeral arrangements.

A memorial fund has been established in Rita Huhn's name.
